The North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching (NCCAT) is a recognized national leader in professional development programming for teachers. Established by the state legislature in 1985, NCCAT provides a year-round curriculum of courses. How can we catch up with them? We'll introduce you to Google Tools. BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) and find common ground with your students. Learn how to flip your classroom effectively.
Early Grades Literacy
Learn how to meet the needs of gifted children, children in poverty, and secondary level students. Participate in one-day sessions packed with hands-on activities that reinforce essential literacy skills of K-5 students. Encourage literacy through science, the arts, and social studies.

Research and Development
