Gamification resource to share

We've talked before about Gamification here at NCCAT. We are very happy to offer an online course soon that has filled with educators ready to learn. Students are motivated due to personal choice and meaningfulness, real-time feedback, the ability to collaborate or compete, and over time, they learn stay persistent in learning due to prior successes.

At the North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching, we work to give teachers the tools that they need in an environment that helps them to succeed and connect powerfully with other teachers. We've found that there are a large number of teachers who are not able to attend our face-to-face seminars and programs but who are looking for programming that connects to their needs.

How Gamification works

GoGo Labs, Inc. announced that it will partner with the North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching (NCCAT) to provide North Carolina public school teachers with online training in quest-based digital learning. The partnership will attempt to introduce teachers to Gamification.
