Teaching with ambition calls for science educators to create learning spaces in which students are challenged, creative, and thinking critically. Participants in this session will experience standards aligned science activities that make student thinking visible, allow for rich classroom discourse, and position students to make sense of the happenings in the natural world. The foundational text for this session is Ambitious Science Teaching by Mark Windschitl et al.
