CULLOHWEE - Mary Blanton lives the life of a lifelong learner. Ms. Blanton first attended programs when the North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching was at Madison Hall on the Western Carolina University campus.
She is pictured at the NCCAT campus during a recent week of professional development with us at NCCAT in front of a photo of Madison Hall. "Old Madison" was the home of NCCAT for four years before it outgrew the facility and moved to a home of its own in Cullowhee in 1990. Mary is a teacher at Battleground Elementary in Lincoln County Schools.. This time at NCCAT she was part of the "Google Tools In Schools" program.
"Best place ever," Blanton said. "I am here getting all my technology credits for certificate renewal. It has been incredible."
