We all feel the effect of time. We need time to work on a school project. Time to incorporate changes in curriculum. Time to integrate technology into our subjects. Time to plan for the future.
We know it is hard to implement the exciting ideas your school has developed with the limited time available. NCCAT is offering the Research and Development Teams program designed to give your team of educators the time and space to collaborate for the successful execution of a school or district project. Projects might consist of new programming, research, planning, or curricula. We have staff members available to assist in areas like starting a Summer Reading Camp, digital learning, leadership, or other areas you request.
Preference will be given to projects related to digital learning and early grades literacy. Send a team of educators from your school or school system to take advantage of this opportunity to create or complete that project on your list—if you just had time.
NCCAT will provide single rooms, meeting spaces, and internet access. Meals will be arranged on a group-by-group basis. This unique opportunity is being offered several times in the coming months.
Administrators, Central Office personnel, and district coordinators are encouraged to join a team that includes North Carolina public school teachers. The application process requires submission of a project proposal from your team that should be sent to NCCAT Director of Programming:
Dr. Jonathan Wade at [email protected]. The forms and arrangements can be adjusted for each individual group.
