OCRACOKE - NCCAT welcomed Ocracoke School middle and high school students back to school Monday.
We are happy to assist both students and teachers, now coping with the after-effects of Hurricane Dorian. It has been a pleasure to work with our friends in the Hyde County Public School System as they use our facility while Ocracoke School is being repaired. During this time, we will continue to offer professional development at our western North Carolina campus in Cullowhee, online, and in schools throughout the state. Other buildings on the Island will also be used for students during the recovery period.
We thank the NCCAT staff, who also are dealing with storm-related issues personally, for their commitment and dedication both to NCCAT and the Ocracoke Island community.
