The North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching (NCCAT) is closely monitoring the COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) situation, which continues to evolve rapidly. Although there are confirmed cases of COVID-19 in North Carolina, there are no confirmed cases connected to the NCCAT campuses at this time. NCCAT, along with our partners, continue to plan and prepare for a swift response, should the need arise.
NCCAT participants and employees are encouraged to follow the same precautions to protect against COVID-19 that would be used to prevent the spread of flu and other viral illnesses. Wash your hands frequently, sneeze or cough into your elbow (not your hands), avoid touching your face, and do not share food, cups, or utensils with others. Also, avoid others who are sick and avoid contact if you feel sick yourself.
If you feel ill, for your safety along with others, please consider rescheduling to another NCCAT residential course or NCCAT Online.
