For twenty years the NCCAT Holocaust Education Program has worked to promote Holocaust Education in North Carolina public schools as a part of our continuing effort to promote student understanding of the ways in which our individual and collective actions shape the direction of the present and the world of the future. For almost a decade the alumni of our Holocaust Education program have been gathering in the spring to focus on various ways to continue to engage our students to act ethical ways. This year, as a part of an effort to partner more effectively with other programs offering Holocaust education resources to the teachers of North Carolina, NCCAT will be hosting its annual Gathering of Holocaust Educators in Durham.
