An accomplished educator with deep roots in North Carolina Dr. Mandy Taylor has recently joined the North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching (NCCAT) faculty. Dr. Taylor has been named Senior Content Specialist. Taylor joins the NCCAT faculty, which served all school districts in North Carolina last year. NCCAT provides teachers with new knowledge, skills, teaching methods, best practices, and information to take back to the classroom.
At times, students need support when engaging in grade-level texts. Providing scaffolds is one way to make grade level texts accessible for students.
