Congratulations to Kelly King from West Henderson High School in Henderson County for being named NCCAT’s Slater Family Honored Educator Scholar for 2015-2016! Mrs. King is at NCCAT this week participating in “Bring Your Own Technology: Digital Learning.”
This scholarship will cover all costs associated with Mrs. King’s participation, including program materials, instruction, food, lodging, travel, and a substitute.
The Slater Family Honored Educator Scholarship was established to pay tribute to all of the many Slater family members who dedicated themselves to careers in education. This includes Gracia Slater who served as the director of development at NCCAT for 10 years until her retirement in 2004.
